Why is theatre necessary?
Quite a few reasons. I believe entertainment is essential to have happy humans. Theatre is also an engaging way to teach, and encourage people to consider certain ideas, historical events, new ways of thinking, etc... It is also necessary to have something in this world that brings people together to experience ideas, events, art etc... in a group. It also can be easier to relate to people you are seeing on stage than it can be to relate to people you are seeing on screen!
